1. Agreement and permitted users
This End-User Licence Agreement (“Agreement”) applies to Olivier & Yola Finance Reader (the “App”). The App is privately operated by and licensed only to Olivier Corbeil and Yola van Leeuwenkamp for their own authorized QuickBooks Online company. It is not offered for public registration, resale, or use by unrelated third parties.
2. Licence and purpose
The operators grant the permitted users a limited, revocable, non-transferable licence to use the App for personal reporting, reconciliation, budgeting, and financial analysis. The App may be used only with a QuickBooks company the user is authorized to access.
3. Read-only functionality
The App is designed to retrieve authorized QuickBooks information using read-only requests. It cannot create, edit, post, pay, or delete entries in QuickBooks Online. The App does not replace accounting, tax, legal, investment, or other professional advice.
4. User responsibilities
- Authorize only a QuickBooks company the user may lawfully access.
- Keep the computer, macOS account, and Keychain access secure.
- Review financial outputs against the source records before relying on them.
- Do not copy, transfer, sublicense, or expose the App or its credentials to others.
- Revoke access promptly if the device or credentials may be compromised.
5. Third-party services
QuickBooks Online and Intuit's APIs are third-party services governed by Intuit's own agreements and policies. Intuit may change, suspend, or discontinue those services. QuickBooks and Intuit are trademarks of Intuit Inc.; the App is independently operated and is not endorsed by Intuit.
6. Availability and warranties
The App is provided “as is” and “as available” for private use. To the extent permitted by law, no warranty is made that every report will be complete, current, error-free, or continuously available. Users remain responsible for validating important figures in QuickBooks Online and with qualified professionals where appropriate.
7. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the App's operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost- profit damages arising from use of the App, unavailable third-party services, or reliance on an unverified output. Nothing in this Agreement excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
8. Termination and disconnection
The licence ends when the App is no longer used or authorized. A user may disconnect at any time by revoking the App in QuickBooks Online and removing the locally stored OAuth credentials. On termination, use of the App must stop and retained credentials must be deleted.
9. Governing law and contact
This Agreement is governed by the laws of Québec and the federal laws of Canada applicable there, without limiting any mandatory consumer rights. Questions may be sent to yola@yolavanleeuwenkamp.com.
