Reconnect
Restore access securely.
Reconnection is needed only if the owners revoke access, the refresh token expires, or Intuit requires fresh consent.
Reconnection steps
- Confirm the old connection is no longer active.
- Run the local connection setup again.
- Sign in only on Intuit's secure authorization page.
- Select the correct company and approve accounting access.
- Verify the read-only connection before requesting reports.
Reconnecting replaces the old locally stored refresh token. It does not change any QuickBooks accounting records.
